Here's a picture of a 1968 Gillig 501-12 school bus converted to motorhome. It has a DT466 I Engine; wish I had one more gear, however. I tow a full sized Bronco with no problem!

Thanks for the photo Stan.

Oct 03, 2011 | 8:15 pmPretty cool bus!! Still remember you parking next to my motor home at the turn off between the road to Palmer and Wasilla. Don't know if that campground is still there or not. Interested in getting summer/full time jobs in Alaska again so let me know if any are available and looking forward to hearing from ya. Later, Lon

I would like to see pictures of a 1965 flat nosed GMC school bus.
My family used to sing & they used one as a motor home. I am interested in seeing what one looks like, since I was just a kid back then.
Thankyou,
Scott Deeter
