1950 GM TG3101 Army Bus
This the only picture I have. This is my Army bus That I drove in 1959 from Fort Ord, CA to Camp Roberts, CA each day. It was was a General Motors (GM) built I think in 1950. It had a big six cylinder gas engine in the back with four on the floor stick shift. It had no rear window and the back was rounded off like a Flexible. There was a little room in back for luggage with access to the engine. It had a big fan behind the radiator in the back so it sounded like a airplane at slow speeds. I've been told it was a GM TG-3301 or 3302 with about 36 seats.

I love these authentic period photos of old buses. It would be great to see a side and back photo of this GM old look bus as it is very different from the type most people saw on public roads.
I don't have yet but soon will have a 1958 bus and would like to turn it into a camper for my family. I would also like to show it at car shows I've never seen this done. Has anyone else done this before if so email me please.this is going to be a big job and i need any ideals anyone has for me. thank you so much kimberly
How do I start a new thread on this site? I want to post some photos of an old look GM bus.
