Currently laying out plan for the "green" restoration and refit on a 1953-54 custom silver side "Land Yacht" once owned by Lucille Ball. This unit originally had a "matching" seagoing yacht and airplane. The name of the coach is "Savitar". I believe Greyhound was involved as possibly the basic coach builder. Any and all input and information would be appreciated!

For what it's worth...
there's a Scenicruiser sitting in a field 22 miles north of Tilden, TX, on west side of Hwy. 16. It is easily visible from road, and bears faded "Maranatha" logo on its flanks (church choir bus?). I suspect it is for sale.
Every single one of these "Kings O' The Road" deserves to be rescued and restored.

Im being offered a 1948 Greyhound Silverside Bus RV conversion in trade for a truck. Was converted in the 1990s at a cost of $50K. Sleeps 6 with four bunk beds, queen bed in the back bedroom. Everything works, runs strong with a 671 Detroit engine. Has generator, holding tanks, seperate shower with toilet. Cushioned air ride front seat. Am trying to figure out some value? Any ideas on what its worth would be much appreciated. Thanks. Jim
