Snapped these pictures at work today - I had just finished painting bus #2104, and saw the Carolina come in, and couldn't resist. These pictures were taken at the new Richmond, VA Body Shop.

YOUR COMMENTS

Saw your pics of the Greyhound MC-12 on line at the library. I'm a huge fan of Greyhounds MC-12 and G4100 buses. Do you have any kodachrome original slides available for sale? Or know of anyone who shoots slides of Greyhound buses that may have some kodachromes for sale. I am particularily interested in any slides of retired Greyhounds.
Thanks

Do you know if all Carolina Trailways MC-12's are now retired?

One final question......
Do you know where Greyhound MC-12 coach number 1804 is? I was very fortunate to get a nice color slide shot of it while it was operating on Miami cruiseship passenger shuttle from the airport to Port of Miami last year.
It is the only shot I have of this bus!

I notice the Carolina Trailways bus has a Greyhound Logo on the back. Is Carolina Trailways a member of both systems?

I love buses. From my first bus ride in '78 on a Trailways Eagle bus, through the years of volunteering with the Chicago transit Authority, working for Greyhound Lines, to obtaining my CDL just so I can be part of the culture of being one with my joy of buses! I thank you for the photos. Do you run across any of the old 102's?
