1959 Chevrolet Viking Bus - Nepal Transport
This 1959 Chevrolet Viking bus was owned by Nepal Transport Service, the country's first intercity bus line. It was established by Lupau Ratna and Karuna Ratna Tuladhar in Kathmandu in 1959, and carried passengers between Kathmandu and Amlekhgunj. The 30-seater Chevrolet, shown here in 1961, was manufactured by Hindustan Motors Ltd. at Uttarpara, India. (c) Kamal Ratna Tuladhar

Interesting picture. I remember riding in a schoolbus like this one. It is weird to see it used for intercity service. I had a problem riding around this thing as it was around San Francisco where I grew up!
